Rachel, an Asheville native, is somewhat of a professional student. With 14 years of college education every semester, she gained a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Photojournalism and Spanish. After owning her own photography business and working with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets), she started teaching Spanish to middle school students and obtained her teaching license. She taught for 5 years, while working on pre-requisites for physical therapy school, and later attended Western Carolina University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. She chose physical therapy as a career because it combines her love for teaching, creativity and healthy living. Rachel previously worked at Cornerstone as a physical therapy aide while she was obtaining her doctorate.
When Rachel is out of the clinic, she loves repurposing old furniture, decorating, exercising, hiking, photographing nature, traveling and hanging out with her 3 pups and husband.
