Rachel, an Asheville native, is somewhat of a professional student. With 14 years of college education every semester, she gained a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Photojournalism and Spanish. After owning her own photography business and working with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets), she started teaching Spanish to middle school students and obtained her teaching license. She taught for 5 years, while working on pre-requisites for physical therapy school, and later attended Western Carolina University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. She chose physical therapy as a career because it combines her love for teaching, creativity and healthy living. Rachel previously worked at Cornerstone as a physical therapy aide while she was obtaining her doctorate.
When Rachel is out of the clinic, she loves repurposing old furniture, decorating, exercising, hiking, photographing nature, traveling and hanging out with her 3 pups and husband.
Jessica graduated from Stetson University with her Bachelor's in Rehabilitative Studies in 2006 and completed her graduate work at the University of St. Augustine and earned a doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010.
Her continued education includes advanced certification in Manual Therapy through the University of St. Augustine in 2012. She then became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 2014, and in 2017 finished her certification in Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars. Additionally, she has taken continuing education courses in the treatment of vestibular disorders, spine-related dysfunction, sacroiliac join dysfunction and extremity dysfunction.
At Cornerstone Physical Therapy, Jessica treats an orthopedic population and also runs the Post Oncological program. This includes but is not limited to treatment of lymphedema, myofascial pain syndrome post mastectomy or lumpectomy, postural syndrome, balance disorder associated with peripheral neuropathy following chemotherapy or long duration of immobility, scar tissue restriction, as well as tension headaches.
Phil grew up in Chattanooga, TN and later graduated from University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Afterwards, he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Following school, Phil worked as a travelling physical therapist for 5 years, relishing the experience to learn about different regions, cities, and people across the US. During this time he specialized in orthopedic conditions.
Phil now lives in Asheville with his wife Jodi and dog Kenai. During his spare time he loves anything and everything outdoors, including: ultramarathons, backpacking, and skiing.

Caroline Grady is from Alexandria, VA and attended the College of William & Mary where she majored in Kinesiology. After traveling out west on a cross-country cycling trip, Caroline attended the University of Colorado to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. After exploring the mountains in Colorado, Caroline is happy to be back on the east coast and closer to her family. She has coached gymnastics for over 7 years and recently became more involved with CrossFit. Caroline enjoys being able to apply her gymnastics and CrossFit experience to her patients. While not working, Caroline enjoys spending time outdoors, especially cycling and hiking, and exploring breweries and restaurants in Asheville.
